World Assembly for Women 2016

1. WAW! 2016 will be held in December 13 and 14 in Tokyo.
2. As part of the efforts for creating “a society where all women shine” which is one of the most important agenda item's of the Government, the Government of Japan has annually hosted WAW! (World Assembly for Women) since 2014. In WAW! 2015, about 150 leaders of various fields surrounding women from Japan and abroad participated.
3. All related ministries and agencies will work together towards successful WAW! in cooperation with interested parties towards successful WAW!
